Questions Chattanooga practices ask before they switch.
You’re based in Cleveland. Can you really serve a Chattanooga practice?
Yes. Our office is at 1025 Peerless Xing NW in Cleveland, about 30 minutes from Chattanooga, and we don’t have a Chattanooga office. That doesn’t matter much for billing, because the work happens in your EHR, Waystar, and payer portals. And Chattanooga is close enough that a drive to see you is easy. We work only with Tennessee practices, so Hamilton County practices get the same team and the same Tennessee payer focus as our Cleveland clients.
Do we onboard remotely, or will you come to our office?
Either one. In-person meetings are available for Chattanooga-area practices. Book a free consultation and tell us what works for you. If you’d rather do it remotely, setup works over phone and video: we get access to your EHR and clearinghouse, review open A/R, and start enrollments. Either way, most day-to-day work happens by phone, email, or in your EHR.
We already have a biller. What does switching look like?
We start with a free consultation to look at how your billing runs today. If you move forward, we set up access, take over and work all open A/R your previous biller left behind, and work every claim that isn’t correctly adjudicated and paid. We also handle any payer enrollment updates. We work with your existing EHR and run billing on Waystar, so your clinicians keep their workflow. Most practices are live within a few weeks, depending on payer enrollments and how quickly we get clearinghouse and EHR access.
How much does medical billing cost for a Chattanooga practice?
The same published tiers apply everywhere: 7.5% of monthly collections up to $50K, 6.5% from $50,001 to $100K, 5.5% from $100,001 to $250K, and 4.5% above $250K. The rate is based on collections, not charges. No setup fee, and credentialing is included for RCM clients. See full pricing.
Can you get our new providers credentialed with Tennessee payers?
Yes. Credentialing, recredentialing, and contracting are part of the RCM engagement, so there’s no separate enrollment invoice. We regularly work BCBST, TennCare MCOs, and Palmetto GBA (Medicare), plus other Tennessee payers. Timelines depend on the payer. We submit complete packets and follow up until there’s a decision.
